Question: Are americans in phoenix arizona really really racist against mexicans/hispanics?

I know racism exists every where, but is it worst in phoenix? im planning in moving to phoenix and attend Arizona State University but I'm scared to move due to racism. Is racism so bad in Phoenix that I should not move, Is racism so bad that I SHOULD b scared to move, or is just normal, as bad as LA or what?...I should probably say that i know how to defend myself, i don't take bull from no one.

I agree with what Ghost said. See if you can find an Hispanic community to live in or near. I really wouldn't worry about it though because sometimes there are situations you can't avoid. You may run into racist people no matter where you are. Just mind your business and worry about you and nobody else and you should be fine. You don't want to live in fear either. Maybe check out online forums about life and racism in Phoenix. They tend to help out alot in that people give their opinions and experiences on life in particular areas. Just type in your question on Google or bing and I'm sure you will find some answers to your questions; those search engines will list several forum websites where you'll get a lot more answers than you might get here because they will be catered to the specific city you're looking at.

I find racist people everywhere... You shouldn't be scared. There are more people who aren't as racists as others nor violent. If you do go to AZ then just find friends and stay out of dangerous areas... the locals will tell you where not to go...

Well there are racists everywhere but in Phoenix the whites won't treat you bad b/ c the majoirty of the people are hisapnics and if they say sh!t they can be sure a latino gang is gonna f*ck em up. why the thumbs down. it's so true. that happens. i am just giving the facts. i know it happens.

Everytime I get a closed minded individual coming up to me telling me to go to back to America, I tell them, "When you go back to Europe, I'll be more than glad to leave! "

First of, your question is terribly misguided. What do you mean by "Americans in Phoenix "? Are you suggesting that many hispanics or blacks who live in Phoenix aren't American? Racism exits in every country, in every culture, in every racial or ethnic groups. You sound like brainwashed liberal who thinks that ONLY whites and ONLY Americans can be racist. No, I can't say if there is any racism in Phoenix since I never lived there. We don't have rampant racism as liberals always claim.
