Ok so i had got a seatbelt ticket, and forget to pay it on time. So i had to go up to the police department and arrange all that. I happened to notice that as my race on the ticket it stated i was white. im full mexican btw So i asked the policeman why it said i was ''white'' when clearly im ''mexican''... He then said to me that hispanic isnt considered a race in the state of arkansas..If someone is hispanic their considered white hispanic..He didnt get why..but that was the law..So my question is why?? Is theire other states with this so called law.. Do you think its fair for us hispanics not to have our own set category. we really dont wana be classified as something were not..I mean how would white people feel if they were clasiffied as hispanic whites? I'm from Arkansas... and i've found that the University's system in the south is CRAP ... They overcharge and spend the money on stupid things like... CLOCK TOWERS ??? wtf... when the labs need more equipment and that money could SOOO go to scholarships.. Why don't students have any say over where their money actually goes? Not even 50 % goes to tuition... the rest goes to CRAP, fees, things we dont even use. why? how can we fix it?... once again, no helpful answers... what can i do to fix this problem........................................................................
