Moved from south carolina to connecticut and im hating it. life is depressing now, help please :S!?
recently moved to connecticut from south carolina, i lived here in connecticut until i was about 9 and moved to SC and pretty much met some of my best friends and had my best times. Im now 14 and moved in my freshmen year with my dad because i wanted to know what it was like, i honestly dislike it here so much i miss my best friends etc. but the catch is there is a " better" education here at least for colleges to look at so i've heard. And also its kind of strange but im in the more " popular" group here but life just isn't the same without my old friends its not miserable but its close to it.

Charities/community service for teens in Connecticut?
I want to do some community service in my area. I live in Southeastern Connecticut, and I can't find any charities or non profit organizations that i could contribute to. If anyone knows of any community services that are interested in volunteers, let me know. I'd really appreciate it. Also, if they have to do with animals or plants or agriculture, that'd be even better because it helps give me experience for my career goals. Thankyou

many people often think of Connecticut as a rich state. And therefor end up thinking that all the people in Connecticut are rich or at least are middle class. im from Hartford, Conecticut and live there now i just want to hear ur opinionhahaha Hartford is actually one of the poorest cities in the country so i live in the " hood" but luckily my parents have steady jobs but yea dont believe what you hear lol. hartford is like a mini new york at least it tries to be lol but the cities closer to new york such greenich idk how u spell it and stamford are for the rich people. but yea i just asked the question just to see what people really thought. when u get some spare time go on youtube and type in hartford connecticut and see what u get thanx for answering my question

I recently saw Haunting in Connecticut and when i saw it was a true story i wasn't really convinced... when i looked up the real story, as far as i read it really had not much to do with the main story line of the movie.. so is the movie actually mostly fiction? Just felt curious about it.. Thanks
