Hello,I live in Iowa and my fiance and I are really struggling this christmas. He is the sole breadwinner while i'm a student. We thought we would be able to pull through this year but it isn't looking good. I contact the salvation army and toys for tots and no one ever got back to me. I am unsure if I was to late for these services or whatnot. Does anyone know of any specific help I can request this year? Thanks for your time. My fiance works out of town often and I am the sole caretaker. Grandmas are to old to watch them and my siblings all work. 13 Stories Haunted House in Waterloo, Iowa?
I have been told by many people that there is a 13 Stories Haunted House in Waterloo, Iowa. My cousin even told me that last year she and her friends went to it for her birthday party. She told me that it is 13 stories, that it gets progressively scarier. She mentioned that the farthest anyone has ever gotten is level 9, and that if you beat that you get your money back, and if you get to the top you get $100. I have also been told by a few people that it is a myth, however, my 13 year old cousin described intricate details of the Haunted House that I don't believe she could have made up. Anyone know where it is? I would very much like to find it.

Hello, I am contemplating moving to Iowa City for work. I am a single asian male who was born and raised in cali but have been in Michigan for the past 4 years and am contemplating moving to Iowa City for work at the University of Iowa which is a great program and I generally liked the city when I visited the city. However I was wondering how the city is for non caucasian people? Is there much diversity there? Is the city open and tolerant? If you were single, could the city keep you entertained for four years?
