Yes, he did! All hail the Flying Spaghetti Monster! He is my one true savior, his teachings keep my alive. Whenever I see a bowl of noodles I bow and feel a wonderful sense of peace. Creationism? Pah! There is only PASTA. Ramen!

I'd like to know what religion believes in the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I don't think the Flying Spaghetti Monster is recognised by many as a deity, so I doubt it did keep creationism out of Kansas Schools.

Yes the Atheist god, The Flying Spaghetti Monster, one of many of their false gods, kept creationism out of Kansas schools. But we shall overcome. Jesus is on our side, remember?

Yes, it did; specifically, on August 1, 2006, 4 of the 6 conservative Republicans who approved the Critical Analysis of Evolution classroom standards (which would have allowed the concept of intelligent design to be taught) lost their seats in a primary election. The moderate Republican and liberal Democrats gaining seats, largely supported by then-Governor Kathleen Sebelius, vowed to overturn the 2005 school science standards and adopt those recommended by a State Board Science Hearing Committee that were rejected by the previous board.
