Why do white folks love cover up what happened in Louisiana before the Louisiana Purchase?
What happened there was that before the US bought Louisana for $15 million, Blacks, Whites, & Natives mixed together and they lived in " racial harmony" . Creoles were tri racial people who were free and were the only real wealthy people of color at the time in US keep in mind that this was the 1700s . Some looked mostly black, mostly white, or mostly native and after the US bought Louisiana and started their " whites only mentatilty" the ones who passed as white became " regular white folks" . The black looking ones and the native looking ones basically were labeled as " African American" or " Native American" and were treated as such regardless of their admixture. So why do we not learn that in school when its very important to know?
