Question: Are massachusetts people more accepting of lgbt?

I'm thinking of moving there after college. Are they more accepting of gay couples there compared to other states? Considering they were the first to legalize gay marriage I would think they are a bit gay friendly.

No, the gay marriage thing was forced of the people of Mass. by bureaucratic interference and never voted on. If it was voted on democratically people might think better of it but most people still disagree with it.

I think that people in all the Northeast states are really liberal and are much more accepting. I don't think you would have too much of a problem, especially if you move to a bigger city like Boston or somewhere like that.
