Now I know America isn't as a whole like this thats why I was asking, I went to highschool in SE Michigan and I loved it, I was a Satanist at the time my family was living basically in the country and across the street from me basically I found out was another Satanist in Highschool I could write papers on Satanism, reincarnation etc and get A's and B's on them people could be gay remember that is a small town pop around 1,000 people and were not made fun of, I was actually quite popular even though people knew my beliefs, and there were other pagans and Satanists, wiccans, etc there as well, people basically let you be yourself even if you made a fool out of yourself in class we would have interesting conversations. Even at my dads church Methodist I could talk to others about my beliefs without any problems at all. When my dad moved and we went to the thumb area people were no longer like that and I had trouble making friends, I am in the process of finding an apartment back down there cause people are so nice there. You have towns like Chealsea, Tecumseh, Adrian, Ann Arbor, Clinton.
