Question: Does new jersey really suck? (Posted by: MC on 2010-02-18 00:19:27) I think everyone by now has heard all the rumors about New Jersey; that it sucks, that it's hell on earth, that no one wants to live there, that there's nothing to do out there, ect. But my question is, is it really that bad? My best friend lives in New Jersey and I've even gone vacationing in Atlantic City before and it wasn't that terrible but maybe I'm wrong. I dunno, I'm a New Yorker so maybe I'm just used to it. What are your thoughts? |

I've been in New Jersey on several occasions and, found it generally to be a state of some really seriously dirty towns.... with people who seem to be exceptionally self- absorbed, catty, and cold.... Atlantic City is naturally going to be considerably "nicer ".... seeing that it hasn't been that long since it had a major "make-over " with the gambling centers and tourist thing happening there...their livelihoods depend on a better atmosphere..... It may not be "hell on earth "...but, I don't really see much in it and generally wouldn't feel as though I've missed much... if I never had the opportunity to return..... Posted by: Sludge on 2010-02-18, 00:24:19 Yes, yes it does, and the whole driving thing is true, i drive from pa to florida every year twice and the WORST drivers are Virginia and jersey. random fact: jersey tried to eliminate the use of left turns on roads. (i had a friend come from jersey and she had no idea how to left turn at an intersection because they dont do that in jersey.) |

Posted by: yeahgotcha on 2010-02-18, 00:25:09 B/ C of New Jersey Shore. Only one of them is from New Jersey...the rest are from Bronx, Staten Island etc. So the answer is NO. NYC is different yeah, but that's NYC. Except for Staten Island. Some annoying people there. |
