Question: Were can i get hormones at in pennsylvania at 16?

My parent are willing to let me start HRT but i can find anywere to give them to me or have them write me a letter i live near pittsburgh so sommething around here would be great if anyone know were i could go to do this that be great iv ben going to the persad center but there only going to help me until i turn 18 then they can give me hormones but i would like to get them soon

Per the standards of care (soc) with parental permission you can start hormone replacement therapy (HRT) at the age of sixteen if you have a referral letter from a gender therapist. Even with the consent of your parents you can't just walk in to a doctor's office and ask for hormones. The endocrinologist will usually require a letter of referral from a GENDER therapist. What you don't seem to understand this is a HUGE liability issue for the doctor and the referral letter is their legal cover. With parental approval they can write you a letter of referral NOW. It's right in the SOC that you can start hormone replacement therapy at age 16.
