Why do people in utah have 'weird' names?
i asked this before, but didn't get any good answers. so i'm asking again.this isn't meant to be discriminating or anything like that. but recently i stayed with my cousins that live in utah, the st. george area. when i would go places with my cousin and i'd meet her friends, i couldn't help but notice all of them had really different names, most of which i've never heard of. even the ones that were 'normal' names, were spelled differently than normal. some of the names i heard were rowdy, braxton, brakkell, brekkan, makaibree, traeson, cambria, chunner, xanthe.anyways, my question is, does this have anything to do with the majority of people in utah being mormon. or do their parents just all like unique names lol. btw, i have nothing against mormons, i was just curiousto winter glory yes i know other religions give kids weird names. i was just asking because every single person i met there had a unique name, and i was curious as to if this was something to do with them being mormon or not. i'm not discriminating against them or anything.
